This summer semester, as part of the @studiumplanetare lecture series, we’ve been collecting words on textiles and sewing them together in the @udkberlin Nähwerkstatt to create a collaborative textile piece called “Fluid Dictionary: stitching words in motion”.
The 3 x 3 m artwork functions as a nine-part puzzle, with segments that can be rearranged — and up to 50% of the textiles are recycled. We’ll be presenting it at the UdK Rundgang on 18 July - stay tuned!
Amidst climate crises and global unrest, this project stands as a collective call for climate justice, solidarity, and more sustainable, interconnected planetary futures.
The piece will be exhibitet at Rundgang 2025. More information to find here.
